Course Objectives

To teach individuals the skills and knowledge required to become an instructor for the machines they are trained to operate.

Course Content

Practical test to instructor standard

Conduct practical demonstration and practical lessons

Theory examination on health and safety

Recommendations of training

Instructional Techniques

Conduct classroom lessons

Report writing

Practical skills testing

All candidates will be given presentations and training aids to help them on all of our courses and we offer on going help and support also.

Criteria for Instructor course

At least 12 months operating experience and a retest within 6 months of the instructor course. The retest will be free of charge for people booking the instructors course.

Delegates attending this course must be experienced and qualified operators of the types of machines on which they will be required to give instruction. They should also meet the relevant recommended medical requirements and have proven themselves to be mature and reliable, with the desire to teach others.

All candidates attending our instructor courses will receive all training material required to deliver courses and will also receive on going help if required

10 days - Novice trainee

3 - 4 days - re-registration

5 days - Direct entry from another accrediting body
